Meet Gus

Meet Gus, our adorable Miniature Bernedoodle (a mix of Bernese Mountain Dog, Australian Shepherd, and Standard Poodle) bred by Affinity K9s in Camrose, AB! Born on October 26, 2022, he was hand-picked from his litter to become an Animal Assisted Interventions Dog and partner with Laura at Accelerate. Gus is a goofy, fun-loving, cuddly pup with a heart full of empathy!

As he progresses through his certification, you can look forward to seeing him pop into your sessions with Laura to lend a paw! Together, Laura and Gus are navigating the certification process for Animal Assisted Therapy at Dream Catcher Nature Assisted Therapy. Gus is doing an amazing job, showcasing his natural calmness and empathy with clients. He’s always eager to learn new skills and can’t wait to share how much he’s grown with all of you! 🐾
